It’s all change at the Amersham BICMA.

Well we hope you’re well rested and looking forward to this year’s training.

We have a new venue for the adult class on Wednesday evening and children’s and adult classes on a Saturday morning.   We are moving to:

The Jubilee Scout Hall

Rectory Hill

Amersham

Bucks HP70BT

This is largely due to the class size growing and the use of weapons in the class.

Due to increasing numbers we are now charging per term for lessons. Once a class is full we will have to put names on a waiting list or arrange additional classes.

If you have tickets, you can include them in your termly payment and we will recognise their value i.e. child ticket is worth £6 each and an adult ticket is £10 each. Any remaining balance can be paid by cheque or cash.

Competition News

In the next couple of months and in the new year there are some great competitions. We have CIMAC in Windsor, the Watford Open and then in March we have an international in Hong Kong. The international will only be open to people who are training regularly.

Malaysia Trip 2011

In June/July we are hoping to plan a trip to train at Sifu’s gym in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia. The trip will 12 days long. If this is something you are interested in please let us know.

A possible gymnastics class for our members and their families.

Last term I had numerous parents ask me if I would run a gym class for the kids. At present I am spread very thin and I am reluctant to take on any more commitments, but over the summer one of my old colleagues from The Hillingdon School of Gymnastics got back in touch with me and told she is returning to London. So at present I am looking into setting up a gymnastics class on Sunday at Chesham Leisure Centre. This would be termly lessons and we need certain numbers to be able to run the class, so if you would like your child to learn artistic gymnastics in a properly structured class please let me know. Numbers will be restricted so it will be on a first come first served basis.

Yours in the martial arts
